Ringstrue is run by art school drop out, "Much". Disgruntled with the art world Much went in search of a new way of expressing her creativity and discovered the art of jewellery making. After a lot of learning and experimentation she is finally able to offer for sale a collection of jewellery that very much reflects her...
chaotic mind, perfectionist style and originality.
From her yellow room, tucked in the corner of an Edwardian house, she sits at her childhood desk. Eyes sore, she works from a harsh spotlight in the midst of a dark room – sunlight blocked out by the haughty row of firs. Happy in creativity, the cold and dark never unsettle. Absorbed in her work - she’s a reflection in a tray of glass beads and a roll of copper wire. Darkness doesn’t taint beauty. It inspires the creation of lavisher and bolder pieces that will briefly embellish the walls and stands before they adorn their new owner. Each piece so different, each piece created with the vision of the wearer, as if they were always destined for a certain someone.
Much likes to believe that while browsing the pages of her shop, each person will eventually stumble upon the piece of jewellery that was specifically created for them. Scan through and perhaps you’ll find the piece she made for you.
Using a whole array of materials and techniques, Much adores creating completely unique pieces and loves the challenge of something new. Her work is often experimental and almost always without plan - just a vague vision and an on-going design. Within the store you'll always find something that little bit different and of course always special, that's been lovingly made and forever imprinted with personal details and thoughts.
